We started Unlearning Solutions inspired to wake up from pointless staff trainings that kept putting us to sleep.
This is who we are
For a More Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive World
Unlearning Solutions is proudly led by two leaders who represent a diversity of marginalized identities. We intentionally seek to work with organizations that are mindful of their impact on marginalized communities, both inside and outside of the organization.
We did not start Unlearning Solutions to do more, playing by the same rules that weren’t built for us. Our work – as individuals and with clients – begins with asking what limiting norms are holding us back from better ways of doing things.
We believe that change can begin with one person in a room, holding space in a new way and welcoming new people to the table. Only when individuals take ownership of their unique roles can teams be propelled forward with ease and direction.
We help that happen.
Rajna Shetty
Executive Presence Coach, Senior Leaders
Growing up in Mumbai, India, I learned through both rote memorization in school and the vibrant diversity of my community, adapting to life in 7 different languages.
When education took me to the United States, I discovered an approach that celebrated critical thinking. The blend of Eastern culture and Western innovation became my sweet spot even as navigating complex organizational challenges became my skill set.
Now, as an Executive Presence coach, I help leaders move forward, whatever their definition of that might be.

Executive Presence Coach, Project Management
When my family and I came to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic in 2002, I had to learn more and learn faster than I ever had before – and I’ve never wanted to stop.
Understanding other people whether or not they welcomed me and thriving in a system that wasn't built for me was about survival. But now that transnational kid has grown up, and it's joy that propels me to help others learn and thrive while they do all kinds of work.
My mail is delivered in Portland, but I live and work anywhere I can help others learn, and keep learning myself.
